Centurion's Insignia
I posted a similar thread in the Ranger forum regarding certain insignias and their worth. This time, I'm bringing up the Centurion's Insignia for the Paragon. +10 armor while under the effect of a shout, echo or chant... Worth taking up an insignia slot for, or would I be better served with Survivor's or Radiant or something else?

You can always get healed for more health, but you can only get so much armor from skills. Going by this, it is pointless to take health over armor on your armor. I'd rather decrease the amount of healing I need than need more healing but higher max.
Higher max health is only good when there is a chance that you will be spiked with something armor ignoring.

Any refrain = 10 free armour.
Aggressive refrain = 25% perma IAS.
Conclusion: 25% IAS gives you 10 more armour.

I dont use survivor/centurion. I never get attacked.
I prefer the extra energy.

Radiant on a Paragon makes little sense. Look at Leadership. You shouldn't have energy issues apart from 4-man areas. Bring a +5 energy spear if you must, and put something useful on your armor.

I dont care, it works fine for me, since I use ToF as upkeep shout.
I dont see any other insignia what's worth it.
I dont get hit at all.

Power Extreme!
Sorry, cartoon reference for the slightly older audience.
I've always used Survivors. I may have to redo my PvE hero's armors now though. I guess I default to more health. :P

on a weapon mod, go for HP since its more versatile in more situations, but when your on a paragon and you have FREE +10 armor thats always going to be there, why would you refuse it?

As long as you stay Survivor or Centurion in PvP...
After all, it's PvE, everything's possible.

As a paragon you'll allways be under the influence of shouts, echo's, ....
10 free armour is an easy choice to make.
Centurions on a Paragon is the easiest insignia decission in the game, together with blessed on an elementalist.

ToF cost 10e, most paragon run 12 Leadership making it cost 4e. In the 10 second it take to recharge you would have gain all the energy back, making ToF a free shout. Radiant on a paragon is the dumbest possible insignia you can use, as Leadership is the best energy management in the game.
Unless you're one of those who think Aggressive Refrain is bad cause of cracked armor and not use it, therefore don't have much in Leadership. But then again ToF is in Leadership, so that can't be it, right? So then what is it?
Anyhow, back on topic, Centurion is win.

PVE I use Centurion or Sentry(the one instance +armor) simply because you need backup against CA. Aggressive kills 20 (monk wont bother in midst of battle unless their RC) Shield(16) + Centurion - CA= 6 which saves you. Both in PVE and PVP
